Project Transformation Reading Program

We have an opportunity to partner with our friends at First United Methodist Church in Georgetown this summer. They are hosting Project Transformation, a ministry where churches and college students invest in the lives of underserved children in our community by providing literacy programs, encouragement, and spiritual development opportunities in the lives of elementary children.

We can help by signing up to volunteer to read to elementary kids from 10:00 to 12:00 anytime Monday through Thursday from June 12 to July 27 at FUMC-Georgetown, You can sign up for any day, multiple days, or just a single time slot on one day. Anytime you volunteer will make a huge difference in the life of a child!

If you are interested in volunteering just email Ann Morrison our reading ministry lead at read@fumc-rr.org and she will share more info and a registration link with you.
