New Here?
“First United Methodist Church Round Rock exists to make disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world.”
We're so glad you are here! We would love for you to learn more about what we do here at FUMC Round Rock. If you are looking to take the next step on your spiritual journey with us, join us at Next Steps. Learn about our mission as a church, share testimonies from pastors and congregants, and find ways to get connected in the life of First United Methodist Church Round Rock.
Jesus told his disciples, “Come and See.” You may be new to the faith or our church and in a place where you are ready to see what a life with God and his church is all about. You may start coming to in-person worship or other activities at the church where you can learn more about following Jesus. A great way to do this is by being part of our Sunday worship, Wednesday night suppers (The Table), and discipleship groups (Sunday School, Bible study, small group), where community and a sense of belonging can be found.
Once you start discovering what faith is about, there may be a point where your faith becomes essential. You start believing what you have been reading and hearing. At this stage, you may feel called to get baptized (if you haven’t before) and join the church.
At the end of his time on earth, Jesus said “Go and make disciples.” Becoming more like Jesus and a follower of his is not the end but the start of a new adventure. After claiming your faith in Christ, you may feel called to become a leader and share your faith through Sunday worship, discipleship groups, and internal or external service with the church. Your life has changed, so you invite and mentor others along the discipleship pathway.

A Heart for Missions
First United Methodist Church Round Rock believes that mission and outreach give feet to the faith that we profess. Our commitment is to promote missions as varied as our membership so that all might find a way to live out the Gospel for the benefit and transformation of the world. Through outreach and mission, we seek to minister to the needs of our growing community, area, and world. With new people, there are new passions. As a growing church, our mission and outreach are always expanding. You can find more information about all of our mission opportunities at our Twin Oaks Mission Café.

FUMC-RR can be a busy place! If you are attending our 9:40 or 11am services, we recommend arriving 15 minutes early. That will give you plenty of time to park, get any kiddos signed into the nursery or Sunday School, as well as grab a cup of coffee, donut, or breakfast taco! Our 8:30 crowd is a little sleepier, arriving 5-10 minutes early will give you plenty of time.

You’ll see everything, from more dressy in the Traditional services to more casual at our Contemporary service.
