Giving

The stewardship of our finances is a tremendous—and often overlooked—area of our lives where we can faithfully proclaim the gospel. Giving strengthens our devotion to Christ and frees us to live open-handedly with the gifts God gives us. We trust in Him and His provision instead of our perceived self-sufficiency. As people of faith, we give faithfully and generously.

Ways to Give

TEXT GIVING - two options

FirstChurch Connect on Realm: Text the word FIRSTHOPE to 73256 and follow the instructions on the screen. Accepts credit, debit, and bank transfers. Once you give via text, information may be saved for future use.

Give Lively: Text the word FIRSTHOPE to 44321 and follow instructions. Accepts credit, debit, bank transfers as well as Apple Pay, Google Pay, and PayPal.

GIVE ONLINE

Online giving is convenient. Through the secure Realm Connect platform, you can make a one time gift, set up scheduled giving, edit scheduled giving, change your method of giving, view two years of giving history and print contribution statements.

GIVE AT OUR WORSHIP SERVICES

Simply place cash or a check in the offering plates when they are passed during each worship service. Be sure to include your name and address on the check or envelope so that donation credit may be provided for tax purposes.

AUTOMATIC BANK DRAFT OR MAIL

You can also set up an automatic draft from your bank account, or just mail a check to First United Methodist Church, PO Box 1448, Round Rock, TX 78680. Recurring gifts, or a simple bill pay, can be set up on a schedule that works for you, and provide flexibility to track and manage your giving. By setting up a bank transfer, you will save the church approximately 3% compared to credit card fees.

Qualified Charitable Distribution

You can create an IRA Qualified Charitable Distribution to First United Methodist Church that is tax free and counts toward your annual Required Minimum Distribution.
