We are kicking off our summer mission fundraiser in support of our beloved Rev. Katie Meek, our missionary serving as a Missionary Advocate for the North Central Jurisdiction.  Katie plays a key role in facilitating our church's Hope on the Road program at the United Methodist University in Sierra Leone. This initiative brings remote seminary education and training to Christian leaders to equip them to proclaim the gospel and make disciples of Jesus Christ in their country. Our fundraiser called "Hope on the Road," will focus on providing the financial support to enable Katie and other instructors to go on the road into local towns and villages and provide theological education to residents who cannot afford to attend the University in person.  To contribute, you can text KATIE to 44321, give online (specify Katie Meek Fund), or support through our UMM wheelbarrow challenge.

Our United Methodist Men will be leading this year's fundraiser for Hope on the Road. The Men's Group will have wheelbarrows to collect coins and donations outside our worship spaces on Sunday July 21 and 28.
