We love our Children’s Ministry Volunteers!
Children’s Ministry is made possible by dedicated volunteers. There are many ways you can serve children in our church.
Sunday School-- we use adult and high school age volunteers in children's Sunday School classes from age 3 through 5th grade. Each room has two volunteers: a teacher and a shepherd. All lessons and materials are provided.
J-Team is our monthly program for children in 3rd-5th grade. It is planned and chaperoned by parents. Children's Ministry staff will assist.
Vacation Bible School is run by an army of adult and youth volunteers. Recruitment begins early in the calendar year.
Other special events, such as Resurrection Celebration, Fall Festival and Walk Through Bethlehem also rely on volunteers. Watch for specific information as special events are planned.
Please note: The safety and security of our children is a top priority. All volunteers that work with children must be Ministry Safe certified. Training is online and can be completed in about one hour.
