Life is loud. Schedules are packed, notifications never stop, and it’s easy to feel pulled in a hundred different directions. Its easy to get lost in all of it, but the call of Jesus offers something different. He invites us into a faith that’s built on staying close to Him, not just trying harder. Join us at DNOW 2026 as we discover what it means to ABIDE in Christ. Join us for a powerful weekend of worship, service, and community as we dive into Jesus’ words in John 15.
Disciple Now, or DNOW for short, is an in town Spiritual Retreat weekend for students in grades 6-12 on the weekend of Feb 27- Mar 1, 2025. We are super excited to welcome David McMinn (speaker), and Patrick Bohmfalk and his band (worship leaders), a) to lead our students in worship this weekend as they engage with Jesus’ words in John 15 where he calls his disciples to ABIDE in him.
Throughout the weekend our students will be chaperoned and led by teams of trusted adults and college students(all of whom are Ministry Safe certified and Background Checked) who are focused on providing the best possible experience for our students to grow in their faith. Students will stay in host homes (members of our congregation who volunteer to host student groups for the weekend) and be led in Bible Study and discussion by young adult leaders (many of these students are former students of FUMC RR or are friends of theirs from college who are committed to walking in faith).
Worship rallies will be held on Friday and Saturday evenings. This year the rallies will be held at FUMC Round Rock with a Saturday morning service occuring at St Richard’s Episcopal. Students will still stay at homes of our congregation members and be transported throughout the weekend. Mission projects, recreation, worship and discussion are all components of the weekend. We strongly encourage students to invite friends to join us in this life changing experience!
Cost for DNOW is $75 but EARLY BIRD PRICING OF $65 IS AVAILABLE THROUGH JAN 31st.
