Confirmation provides students with an opportunity to learn and explore their faith, key Biblical principles, and what it means to be a United Methodist. We are excited to be offering a Confirmation class specifically geared towards High School students who have never taken confirmation before, or are interested in revisiting some of the conversations that they had during their middle school years. During the class students will have conversations centered around big topics in faith and gaining experience in living their faith out in a practical way.
Confirmation is a journey that we take very seriously and it is very important that students are fully committed to the entirety of their confirmation journey. This means that attendance at weekly classes occurring on Sundays from 9:40-10:40 is mandatory along with other confirmation related events including the Confirmation Retreat (weekend TBD- you can add input during registration), worship experiences, and mission projects is expected. We do allow for 2 absences on Sunday mornings throughout the process.
