First Church has partnered with Sleep in Heavenly Peace, a non-profit charity organization to build beds for kids in the community who sleep on the floor. Studies prove that children who sleep in a good bed have better self esteem, have a higher educational capacity, and are healthier people physically – hence the mission of SHP. Building beds for these children is a tangible way that we can share the love of Jesus Christ with others in need in our area.
Come join us for our next bed build in our church parking lot on May 21st at 8:00am-2:30pm!

The cost to build a single bed is $250, a bunkbed is $500, and the cost of a twin bedding set is approximately $50.
