Confirmation registration is now open and we want your student to join us in the Confirmation Class of 2025! The Confirmation journey provides students an opportunity to explore their faith, discuss key Biblical principles, and learn what it means to be a United Methodist. Confirmation allows students the opportunity to engage their faith, build lasting relationships with their peers and older students, and create landmark moments in their walk with God.

Middle School Confirmation is open to students currently in 7th or 8th Grade. Our newly formed High School Confirmation class is open to high school students who have yet to be confirmed, as well as those interested in revisiting formational faith discussions. Both classes will run on Sunday Mornings from Jan- April from 9:40-10:40 am and with commitments outside of that time frame for an interfaith worship service, retreat, and more. 

At the end of the confirmation journey students are given the opportunity to take the vows of membership for themselves and join our church. Students that have been baptized beforehand will be given the opportunity to remember their baptism. Students yet to be baptized will be baptized on confirmation Sunday in the service. Parents are not required to be members for a student to participate in confirmation but we would love to talk with you about joining our church.

Registration is open until December 31, 2025. We will have an informational parent meeting on December 14th via Zoom. We ask for at least one parent to be present to receive information regarding confirmation at FUMC Round Rock. If you are unsure about confirmation, this is a great way to learn what it’s all about, what will be covered, and how we work to make your confirmand’s journey a memorable and life changing one.
