First Church has members involved in both the women’s and men’s Kairos Ministries. Cheryl Glasgow, cherylglasgow@mac.com, provides leadership to the Kairos Women’s Ministry. Update: January 10, 2019. Lucas McClane recently returned from Men’s Kairos#66 and shares this message: “I thank God for all the folks who donated prayers and cookies for Kairos this Christmas! Together we delivered 80 dozen fresh baked cookies for the population and officers and 21 dozen table cookies for the participants. The prayer chain bracelet impressively stretched around the entire chapel (over 100 yards) and was one of the most impactful visual acts of Agape present.”
