Karamu 2019

Round Rock Area Serving Center

13th Annual Karamu

Saturday, August 10

Dear Friends,

Please join us for the 13th Annual Karamu! The travel theme of this year’s Karamu is Polynesia, so come experience the luau food, exotic Polynesian dancers and drummers, and tropical beverages. Dress is casual ~ Hawaiian shirts and grass skirts are encouraged.

The venue for the Karamu is the St William Church Parish Evangelization Center, 620 Round Rock West Drive, in Round Rock. You won’t want to miss the wild reception, so please arrive at 6:00 pm and mingle with the other guests. Dinner is served between 6:00 pm and 7:00 pm. A full evening of fun and entertainment has been planned for your enjoyment which begins at 6:45 pm. Various caterers are providing substantial appetizers for your dining and sampling delights.

After dinner, everyone gets to help “fill the pantry” by making a contribution to the food pantry during the “paddles up” auction. The pantry is providing food to 1,000 households every month. There will be exciting live and silent auction items. And then, I hope you enjoy the magic of the extraordinary Ben Jackson. We’ll close the evening and head home around 9:30 pm.

Your attendance and participation would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for making a difference by supporting the mission of the Round Rock Area Serving Center! We look forward to seeing you!

With a heart full of appreciation,

Lori Scott, Executive Director
Round Rock Area Serving Center
