Disciple Now is a spiritual retreat for students that many denominations and churches across the nation participate in. Starting with a Friday night rally in the Family Life Center and ending in the Sunday morning Crossroads Service, DNow weekend is an exciting weekend full of faith, friendship, and fun. Students stay in host homes (by gender and age) and are led in Bible Study and discussion by young adult leaders. As part of DNow, students will be participating in a food drive to benefit the Backpack Coalition. Worship rallies are held on both Friday and Saturday evenings and will feature the Tyler Murphy Band and speaker Will Cumby. We encourage students to invite friends to join us in this life-changing experience.
- The Disciple Now Kickoff Meeting will be on Wednesday, February 20, 2019, at 7 pm for students, parents, leaders and host home parents.
- There will be time away forms that you can fill out if you have a student that has another commitment, but still wants to participate.

This March during spring break, March 17-23, 18 students and adults will be traveling to Huehuetenango, Guatemala for a short term mission opportunity. Partnering with Drops of Grace and Global CHE Enterprises, our students will be working to bring lasting sources of clean water to the community. Our mission team will be providing clean water to the community through a well and water catchment system. Alongside drilling a well we will have a team of students and adults working with children and teens through community evangelism. We ask your for your prayers that God may use us to be His hands and feet in Guatemala!
Over the past few years, our students have been raising money for drilling a well and providing a water catchment system in Guatemala. The students have raised nearly $3,500. We are asking the congregation to join us in raising additional funds for our water project by bringing your donations on Sunday, March 3rd for our “chicken bucket” offering or donating through the church office.
Lastly, we are in need of supplies for our lessons with the children and teens. The following are supplies we will bring with us: Markers, Crayons, Children’s Books in Spanish, Nail Polish, Bubbles, Stickers, Soccer Balls, 6′ Jump Ropes, Frisbees, Ball Pumps, Yarn, Travel Size Bar Soap, Children’s Toothbrushes and Toothpaste. If you are able to donate any of these items please bring them by the church office.
