J-Team, or Jesus Team, is a once a month social opportunity for 3rd-5th graders, where the children can fellowship and have fun with other kids from church.

We had a wonderful end of year party at the Black Hawk Community Pools and Amenity Center!   We are now on summer break from J-Team.  We talked about “staying connected” over the summer.  All children at the May J-Team are going to send a postcard on a J-Team friend from their summer travels.   Who can you reach out to this summer?

Parents may drop off  children at 2:00 and pick up at 4:00.   All participants must have a current registration form.

J-Team provides an opportunity for 3rd-5th graders to develop relationships in a fun, social environment.  It prepares older elementary children for the later transition into our Youth program.  Except for the kick-off, J-TEAM events are drop-off.  J-Team events are planned and facilitated by parents, so we will ask you to volunteer for one month to plan and chaperone.  Children’s Ministry staff will be available to assist with planning and will attend the events.  J-Team may be held on campus or off-site for a specified activity.   Late drop-off or early pick-up is okay…we know how busy things can get.  Please make sure to sign in and sign out with Tammy Parks, or other First Church staff member when dropping off and picking up your children.

Requirements for attendance at J-TEAM events: 

  • Parent must sign in and sign out each child and complete a J Team Reg Form 2017_18  if a current registration is not on file.
  • Parents must come inside to drop children off and sign them out!
