Rookie Classes – A Gateway to Ringing with Us!
Rookie classes are offered to adults and high school students interested in a short-term commitment to learning the basics of ringing handbells. Our 2017 rookie class concluded in mid June. Future classes will be scheduled as interest dictates. There must be 7 interested for a class to make.
Ring of Joy
Ring of Joy is offered to ringers of limited or no ringing experience who might enjoy ringing during the daytime. Participants should have at least minimal music reading skills. This team has completed its spring semester but would LOVE to increase its numbers for the fall. Next semester ROJ will meet on Tuesdays (beginning September 12) from 8:45-9:45 am in the North Suite of the Sanctuary. Ring of Joy is a wonderful entry point into our ministry for those who have rung before and want to dust off skills or for music readers who have taken a rookie class.
The Jubilation handbell team is a 5-octave team made up of ringers of varying levels of experience, who ring upper level bell techniques. They rehearse Wednesday evenings from 7:00-8:45pm in the North Suite of the Sanctuary.

Council Oak Bells
The most advanced of our adult teams, the “Council Oak Bells” is a 5-octave group made up of experienced ringers who ring upper level bell techniques and difficult music. Named for the historic and beautiful Council Oak on our church property, this group rehearses Thursday evenings from 7-9 pm in the North Suite of the Sanctuary.
