Children's Chime Camp - A Summer Opportunity
Children's Chime Camp is an annual tradition at First Church. This year's camp was held Tuesday, June 8 thru Thursday, June 10 and Tuesday, July 6 thru Thursday, July 8. A total of 23 children had fun while chiming and learning more about music.
We will be offering two sessions of Chime Camp again next summer.

At Children's Chime Camp, incoming 3rd-5th grade students learn in stations: rhythm, reading and ringing! Each day the time allotted to each station changes. By the third day, much of the afternoon was spent in ringing chimes. The final afternoon culminates with a perfomance for friends and family in the South Suite and a pizza lunch for all.

"We'd love for all First Church 3rd-5th graders to ring as our children are an important part of our regular academic year schedule of ringing ministry. And we encourage each child to bring a friend to this awesome event! Chime Camp is an opportunity for students and parents alike to gain a summer sneak peak of what fun ringing can be," says Shari Sloane, Director of the Children's Handbell Ministry at First Church.
