"What a glorious evening!"

"As a native New Yorker, I have seen many Christmas season events . . . but none as spectacular as your production!"

"It was truly a wonderful evening and just the way to begin the Advent season for me."

"The music was so beautiful last night. The concert seems to get better every year, but I don't know how you could top each and every performance. It was absolutely fabulous!"

"The concert last night definitely helped me move into a Christmas spirit. What talent!"

From Lori Scott, Executive Director of the Round Rock Area Serving Center . . . "The concert was sensational! It was such inspiring music for the holiday season. Thank you for making the Serving Center part of the program. The offering was very generous and we truly appreciate it. Happy Holidays!"

These are just a few of the comments following the presentation of "GLORIA", the Ring Noel 2006 benefit performance presented by the First Church Handbell Ministry the evening of Sunday, December 3. The concert took place in the beautiful church Sanctuary.

This year's Ring Noel benefit was based on the beloved carol, "Angels We Have Heard On High." Members of the Council Oak Bells, Jubilation, Sound of Joy (bell duet), Revelation Ringers and Revelation Ringer Ensemble were joined by the sounds of our new church carillon, voices, piano and organ! We also heard beautiful readings and were treated to gorgeous video effects during the evening's festivities celebrating Advent and Christmas.

Our Ring Noel concert benefitted the Round Rock Area Serving Center. This wonderful organization can always use our support as the needs in the Round Rock Community and surrounding areas continue to grow. Just last year, the RRASC provided much needed help to victims of both Katrina and Rita. Approximately $3000.00 was collected at our concert. In addition, many needed canned goods were donated! That's fantastic!

The musicians and support cast would like to thank the 400-500 in attendance at "Gloria!" What a glorious evening it was! We also appreciate the continued patience & support of our families. Have a blessed holiday season!
