Children's Music Camp Was Fun for Kids!

"Music Mania Children's Summer Camp" is an annual event for children entering 1st through 5th grades each fall. The 2006 edition of this camp for kids was held from 9am - noon, Tuesday-Thursday (June 13-15) in the First Church Family Life Center.

Energy and excitement filled the air while students were both ringing and singing. Divided by age, 66 students learned about music through the use of stations: Rhythm, Reading, Singing and Ringing!

Students and parents agreed! This was the best summer music camp anywhere! And students to eager to attend each day! Music Mania concluded on Thursday at noon with a Pizza Party Show-Off for family and friends, with over 120 participating.

Thanks to Carla David, Dr. Linda Bolding, Martha Alderson, Patricia Raglin and Janice Sikes for giving of their time and talents to make "Music Mania Summer Camp" a great success! Our 2007 installment of this event is already scheduled! Mark your calendars for June 12-14!
