S.W.A.T. 2008-2009
This Student Leadership Team is a team of students who are crazy about God. They are individuals who possess no special skill or talent, aren't always the head of their class in school, are not the most coordinated, but always have a joyful heart for serving God, no matter what, no matter where. These student leaders are passionate about getting the word out about the good news of Jesus to their peers, to their families, to the community in which they live, and to the world. They live their faith out loud.
If you are interested in applying for a position on this team, here's a few things to know about the logistical requirements of a dynamic Student Leadership Team:
- S.W.A.T. members meet regularly and attendance is necessary and expected.
- S.W.A.T. members are connected through email for effective communication with the team. It is the student's responsiblility to be completely connected with this ministry which occurs everyday, not just on Wednesdays and Sundays.
- S.W.A.T. members are examples of their faith both in and out of church, reflecting God's passion and love. They carry themselves as student leaders willing to help in time of need, to be listeners, to convey positive attitudes in every aspect of their life.
- S.W.A.T. members should take the opportunity to witness their faith in God by sharing their faith story with others and inviting friends to church.
- S.W.A.T. members are faithful to this team and it's purpose making it a top priority in their life. Leaders arrive early, stay late and are willing to go the extra mile.
- S.W.A.T. memebers are flexible in every way. Sometimes schedules or plans change or need adjusting. Leaders are ready and willing for anything, anytime.
