Special Christmas Giving
Christmas time is a happy time for most of us. A time filled with hope, warmth and generosity. A time to remember the birth of our Savior, Christ Jesus and reflect on the sacraficial gift he gave to us. Once again, the Youth Department has Adopted a family to care for with our abundance and blessings.
How Can You Help?
The joy of helping to make Christmas complete is better than any gift that you will find under your tree. If you are between 6th and 12th grades (or remember being there) than you are invited to visit the "Tree of Hope" in the youth department to select that special new gift to for a member of our adopted family. Look for the tree Thanksgiving week. It will be decorated with the families hopes and needs. If you are prompted, take a gift tag and fulfill that request.
Let's enjoy this time together and watch as the abundance pour out from underneath our hope-filled tree and make this Christmas complete for this family. It would be greatly appreciated to receive your gifts wrapped (tags are provided with each gift request) no later than December 19th to ensure delivery on time.
"Giving frees us from the familiar territory of our own needs by opening our mind to the unexplained worlds occupied by the needs of others."
