District YEAH Cancelled for 2007
Due to inclement weather, the District YEAH has been cancelled. Round Rock will host again next year. All scheduled District YEAH activities on Friday and Saturday have been cancelled. |
Each spring, youth from around our district gather for a day of painting houses. We paint houses for families that otherwise could not afford to have their house painted. This year Round Rock will be the host town for this event. District YEAH will be March 30-31 and will bring about 200 students and adults. We will paint 10-12 houses in just one day. Students and adults interested in participating should look for registration forms in late February. The cost is only $25.00 and covers all of the supply costs as well as 3 meals during the paint days. We will gather on Friday evening for worship and team assignments, then Saturday teams will go out into our community bright and early for painting. This is a wonderful opportunity to connect with other churches in our district as well as families in our community. We look forward to see you there!
