We are so excited to announce the launch of our newest adult Sunday School class. Pathfinders is a family-focused class designed for those with children ranging in age from newborn to elementary school. The goal of Pathfinders is to provide a safe and comfortable environment in which members can grow spiritually, build strong, Christ-centered families, and provide support for one another.
"It is our prayer," says Julie Roberson, one of the class leaders, "that through Pathfinders, our members and families will build deep relationships and that we will walk the path of life together."
"Our goal is that every member will leave class each Sunday having gained insight into the path God wants us to take." adds Kevin Lewis, another group leader. The focus of the class is growth in faith through study and fellowship.

Fellowship Activities Planned
Social activities are planned for each month. Events will alternate between those for couples and those for the entire family. Each month the guys and ladies will take turns having a "night out" for fellowship.
Studies Focus on Life Application of Biblical Truth
The class will engage in a variety of studies that will focus on how the Bible applies to our day-to-day lives. Each study will be about 8 to 12 weeks in length.
Our first study will be Parables from the Backside by J. Ellsworth Kalas. This book presents new insights into Jesus’ parables by looking at them through the eyes of a minor or unsympathetic character in the story. By approaching the stories this way, new meanings are realized and basic teachings are clarified.
Where our class is located
We meet in Building 5, Room 122 at 9:40 am each Sunday morning. This classroom is located on the first floor of the two-story white rock building in which the Church Office is located. You'll find our classroom at the South end of the main hall (next to the double doors).

If you decide Pathfinders is the place where you'd like to share and grow in your faith journey, we ask that you let us know on Sunday morning when we share the joys and concerns. This will allow us to formally welcome you into our class. After your verbal commitment, you will be added to our Yahoo group and class e-mail list at that time. After your addition to our Yahoo group, you will begin receiving our joys and concerns e-mails and announcements for our class. You will also receive Evites for all of our social events.
