Sign Up Now to Be an E-Mail Prayer Warrior
Prayer concerns are listed each week in our Prayer List that comes out in the Sunday worship guides and in our monthly newsletter. But often a prayer concern comes up suddenly or just after the Prayer List is printed. One of the ways we could get lots of our members to praying quickly is through an e-mail prayer group. This is how it will work:
- Someone with a need or who knows there is a need for someone else calls the church office or Lucy Aymond or sends them an email.
- The request is emailed out to the email prayer group as soon as possible.
- All the members on the prayer chain promise to pray as soon as they receive a request and also to honor confidentiality.
This is never a gossip column; and the requests can be very vague. God knows the details, we don’t have to. You don’t have to be a member of the e-mail prayer group to use it and everyone with e-mail is invited to be a part of it. Burdens and worries shared are lighter; joys shared are doubled and we pray about those, too.
