Youth Music Company Presents Godspell

Youth Music Company Tour 2008

On June 3rd, 2008, our Youth Music Company will take Godspell on the road. This musical ministry will travel to Texarkana, Arkadelphia, and Hot Springs.

The Youth Music Company is made up of middle and high school youth, ages 13-18. Godspell has a cast of 17. Others traveling with the cast will be an instrumental group, six chaperones, and, of course, Dr. Bolding. YM Co. has been preparing since September. Church members Christina Gilmore and Eleanor Johnson have given their time and talents to create and sew all the costumes.

Godspell (an archaic spelling of the word gospel) is a 1970 musical by Stephen Schwartz and John-Michael Tebelak. It is based on a series of parables from the Gospel of Matthew.

Godspell will be presented at the 8:30 and 11:00 services on June 8th.
