Middle School Welcome Party
What is the Welcome Party?
The Middle School Welcome Party is an annual event where we welcome the 5th grade students in to the program. It is open to grades 5-8, and is an all night event. We will play games at the church in the Family Life Center followed by worship and pizza. After that we head to Main Event from 2-5am where we have the entire facility to ourselves. You can play arcade games, go bowling, or even play laser tag! We return to the Family Life Center for breakfast before parents can come and pick up their students.
When is it?
The Welcome Party is May 12-13. We will meet at the Family Life Center at 9:30pm on Friday night. You will then be able to pick up your student from the Family Life Center any time between 6:00 and 7:00am on Saturday morning.
What is the Cost & How do I Register?
The cost of the Welcome Party is $30 until Monday, May 8th. After that the cost will jump to $40 May 9-10. The deadline to register for the event is Wednesday, May 10th. To register you can choose to register online following the link above, print registration form or pick one up from the Student Ministries office. All students must have a 2017-2018 Medical Release form submitted to participate in this event.
How Can I Help?
The key to a successful event like this is our parent volunteers! We have 4 different shifts available throughout the night where we will be in need of chaperones; so you don’t have to stay all night. You will see a section on the registration form for you to mark if you can volunteer and when you would like to volunteer. It is crucial to have chaperones help us on the night of the event, so any shift that you would be willing to help for would be a blessing.
