J-Team, or Jesus Team, is a once a month social opportunity for 3rd-5th graders, where the children can fellowship and have fun with other kids from church.

J-Team provides an opportunity for 3rd-5th graders to develop relationships in a fun, social environment.  We will have a parent meeting for parents of 3rd-5th graders on Sunday, August 26 at 11 am in Bldg 5- 232. At this time, you will learn about J-Team opportunities for your child and sign up to “host” a month of J-Team. Two or three families serve as hosts each month. Host families plan the activities and chaperone. Meeting on August 26 will allow our “kick-off event” to be for children and host parents only.

J-Team prepares older elementary children for the later transition into our Youth program.   Please make sure to sign in and sign out with Tammy Parks, or other First Church staff member when dropping off and picking up your children.

The fall kickoff will be on Sunday, September 9 from 2-4 pm!

We are excited to announce that the October and November J-Team events will be at a new time: 5:00-7:00 pm and will include pizza! We will stay on campus for these two events, allowing families with children in student ministries or parents who want to attend the new pastoral Bible study on Revelation to all be in the same place at the same time!

Requirements for attendance at J-TEAM events: 
  • Parent must sign in and sign out each child and complete a J Team Reg Form 2018_19  if a current registration is not on file.
  • Parents must come inside to drop children off and sign them out!
