Sharegiving while Caregiving
Are you caring for aging parents, a spouse or loved one? Perhaps you are the caretaker or the responsible family member that is looking for help with basic questions about aging, caregiving, medical, financial or legal issues. It may be you simply would like to be in conversation with those going through a situation similar to yours.
This new support group, Sharegiving while Caregiving, plans to meet on the third Sunday of each month. If you’re interested in this group, contact Wanell Soslow at firstname.lastname@example.org or 512.255.3336.
Losing a loved one is never easy. Coping with grief and loss is arguably one of the hardest things you will ever have to endure in life. Sadness, loneliness, and fear are only a few of the experiences we may feel when we lose someone we love. First Church offers a 6-8 week curriculum based Grief Support Group periodically, as need is identified. This group is designed to be a place of support through sharing, learning and caring.
If you are going through divorce or rebuilding your life after divorce, Divorce Recovery is offered periodically. Using renowned divorce therapist Dr. Bruce Fisher’s Rebuilding When Your Relationship Ends , this 10 week session works through the building blocks to help put your life back together in a healthy and less traumatic process. For information about the next Divorce Recovery group, contact Dr. Will Cotton, email@example.com or 512-255-3336.
