Prayer Requests

We Invite You to Share Your Joys and Concerns

Prayer is essential to the ministry of any church. At First Church we solicit your needs and concerns that we might be able to lift them in prayer and call God’s Spirit to be active in those lives and needs.

To Submit a Prayer Request

We have several avenues for receiving prayer requests.

Written request: During worship, you may find a prayer request form in the registration books. Fill in the information, fold it, and place it in the book or the offering plates, and they will come to the pastoral staff on Monday.

Telephone: Call the church office at 255-3336 during office hours or you may leave a message after hours.

Email a pastor: Send your request to Rev. Lee Trigg, lee@fumc-rr.org. Please include the nature of the prayer request, whether or not you would like to be contacted by a pastor or Stephen Minister, and if you want your request listed in the Sunday worship guide.

Email Prayer Chain: Send your request to Lucy Aymond at lwaymond@suddenlink.net. She will send it to those signed up as "prayers" on the email prayer chain.

The Sunday Worship Bulletin provides a list of prayer concerns, including those for our First Church extended family.

First Church Email Prayer Chain

We are always on the lookout for prayer partners, those who are willing to spend time in prayer for those needs of which we are aware. The First Church Round Rock e-mail prayer chain is one way we link our prayer partners to the joys and concerns of our congregation.
