The Messenger
We invite you to read our newsletter, The Messenger!
We are now partnering with the United Methodist Reporter to publish The Messenger as a newspaper that features full-color news about our congregation as well as additional pages of conference and United Methodist news from all over the world.
You can pick up a copy of the current issue in the church office or in the Information Center located in the foyer of the Sanctuary. If you would like to be added to the mailing list, please contact the church office at (512) 255-3336 or send your name and address to churchoffice@fumc-rr.org.
For those who would like to receive the Sneak Preview online version, you may sign up to receive it as an email attachment on the First Church UMPortal. A PDF version of our local news as well as a link to the conference news is found below. The new format is a large, newspaper size. Thus, while you will be able to view the PDF online, printing it will prove challenging. Rather than printing the PDF file, we recommend you pick up a hard copy from the church.
